Dear Pulaski Families, You may have heard that our beloved Spanish teacher and Bilingual Coordinator, Denise Hernández, was in a very serious car accident with her family last Saturday night. Ms. Hernández, her husband, and her 8th grade daughter Isabella were injured in the crash. Ms. Hernández and Isabella are still recovering in the hospital, but we are hopeful they will be home soon. Ms. Hernández’ husband is recovering at home with their two youngest children, who thankfully were not hurt in the accident. CPS students may be eligible for Pandemic-EBT cards Your CPS students may be eligible for a Pandemic-EBT grocery card to purchase food. For each day that K-12 school children lack access to an in-school lunch, P-EBT provides eligible families with $6.82 in benefits per student, per day. These benefits are provided on a card that can be used like a debit card to purchase food at any grocery store that accepts LINK cards.
